This is a reminder that some areas are still subject to Rogue Traders/bogus callers. These can take many forms and are often offering to tarmac drives, clean gutters, wanting to buy or sell goods.
Whatever the ruse please remember that you should not have any dealings with such callers at the door. Instances should be reported direct to the police via the 101 number, or if they are persistent use the emergency 999 line.
Do not give personal information to unsolicited telephone callers and do not respond to unsolicited mail or Emails.
We just ask people to be a little careful when dealing with such callers. Remember if in doubt, keep them out – and if you think an offer is too good to be true, it usually is.
